Silsilah Sahihah

Bahz bin Hakim narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man comes to his freed slave (or a relative) and asks him for something beyond his need, but he does not give it, then on the Day of Resurrection a snake will be brought for him which will wrap in its mouth the surplus thing that he withheld."
