Bad example of one who takes back a gift
Hadith 955
- " إن مثل الذي يعود في عطيته كمثل الكلب أكل حتى إذا شبع قاء، ثم عاد في قيئه فأكله ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The example of a person who takes back his gift is like that of a dog who kept eating, and when its belly was full, it vomited, and then started licking its vomit."
