Silsilah Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man becomes the owner of a woman (through marriage), it is not permissible for her to give (anything to anyone) as a gift without her husband's permission."
