Hadith 935
Sayyiduna Abu Juray Hijimi (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! We are people who live in the wilderness, so teach us something by which Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, will benefit us. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not consider any good deed insignificant, even if it is pouring water into the bucket of one who asks for water, or speaking to your brother with a cheerful face. Avoid letting your lower garment hang below the ankles, for this is arrogance, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, does not like arrogance. If a man insults you by mentioning your faults, do not abuse him in return for any fault of his that you know; for the reward of this will be for you, and the burden will be upon the one who said it."
