Praise of Abu Bakr’s charity
Hadith 909
- " إذا أعطى الله أحدكم خيرا فليبدأ بنفسه وأهل بيته ".
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty grants someone wealth, he should begin spending it on himself and his family."
Hadith 910
- " ما نفعنا مال [أحد] ، ما نفعنا مال أبي بكر ".
Narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The benefit we received from the wealth of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), we did not receive from anyone else's wealth."
