- " نعم سحور المؤمن التمر ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best food for a believer's pre-dawn meal (suhoor) is dates."
