Hadith 830
- " ارحلوا لصاحبيكم واعملوا لصاحبيكم! ادنوا فكلا ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that food was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was at the place of "Maraz-Zahran." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): "Come near and eat." They said: "We are fasting." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Saddle the mounts for your companions and do work for them, come near and eat."

Hadith 831
- " أي ذلك عليك أيسر فافعل. يعني إفطار رمضان أو صيامه في السفر ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about fasting while traveling. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do whatever is easier for you."

Hadith 832
- " هي رخصة ـ يعني الفطر في السفر ـ من الله، فمن أخذ بها فحسن، ومن أحب أن يصوم، فلا جناح عليه ".
Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Amr Al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) says: O Messenger of Allah! I have the strength to fast while traveling, (if I do so) will there be any sin upon me? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "It is a concession from Allah, so whoever accepts it, it is good, and whoever wishes to fast, there is no sin upon him."

Hadith 833
- " صم إن شئت، وأفطر إن شئت ".
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Indeed, Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Amr Al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! I observe continuous fasting, so can I fast while traveling? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(It is up to you) if you wish, then fast, and if you wish, then leave it."

Hadith 834
- " أما يكفيك في سبيل الله ومع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى تصوم؟! ".
Abu Zubair narrates from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who was turning about restlessly. He asked about him. The companions said: O Messenger of Allah! He is fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him and ordered him to break his fast and said: "Is it not sufficient for you that you are in the company of the Messenger of Allah and on the path of Allah, that you also began to fast?"

Hadith 835
- " كان يصوم في السفر ويفطر، ويصلي ركعتين لا يدعهما، يقول: لا يزيد عليهما . يعني الفريضة ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would sometimes fast during travel and sometimes not, and (during travel for Zuhr, Asr, and Isha) he would perform two rak'ahs and would not perform more than two rak'ahs.
