Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about Laylat al-Qadr. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Its signs had been shown to me, but then they were taken away. Seek it (i.e., Laylat al-Qadr) seven or three days before the end of Ramadan (i.e., on the 23rd or 27th of Ramadan)."
