Tasbeeh in bowing and prostration
Hadith 772
- (كان إذا كان راكعاً أو ساجداً قال: سبحانك وبحمدك، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وأَتُوبُ إليك) .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Your Prophet used to recite this supplication in bowing and prostration: "You are Pure with Your praises, I seek forgiveness from You and turn to You."
Hadith 773
- " كان إذا كان راكعا أو ساجدا، قال: سبحانك وبحمدك أستغفرك وأتوب إليك ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of bowing or prostration, he would recite this supplication: "You are pure with Your praises, I seek forgiveness from You and turn to You in repentance."
