Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Fadala al-Laithi (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) taught me some matters, and among them was this: "Guard the five prayers." I said: At those times I am occupied, so give me such a comprehensive and sufficient instruction that I may continue to act upon it and it suffices me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Continue to guard the two prayers—that is, the prayer before sunrise and the prayer before sunset."
