Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Imam Zuhri reports Mursal that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would go out on the day of Eid al-Fitr and continue to say the Takbirat until he reached the Eid ground and performed the prayer, and after completing the prayer, he would stop saying the Takbirat.
