Hadith 704
- " من قرأ آية الكرسي في دبر كل صلاة لم يحل بينه وبين دخول الجنة إلا الموت ".
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer, nothing stands between him and Paradise except death."
Hadith 705
- " اقرءوا المعوذات في دبر كل صلاة ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "Recite the Mu'awwidhat Surahs (i.e., Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Naas) after every prayer."
Hadith 706
- " كان إذا سلم لم يقعد إلا مقدار ما يقول: اللهم أنت السلام ومنك السلام تباركت يا ذا الجلال والإكرام ".
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would finish the prayer with salam, he would remain seated after reciting this supplication: «اللهم انت السلام ومنك السلام تباركت ذا الجلال والإكرام» O Allah! You are the Source of peace and from You is all peace. O Possessor of majesty and honor! You are blessed.
Hadith 707
- " كان يقول في دبر كل صلاة مكتوبة " حين يسلم ": لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد " يحيي ويميت، وهو حي لا يموت بيده الخير "، وهو على كل شيء قدير " ثلاث مرات "، اللهم لا مانع لما أعطيت، ولا معطي لما منعت ولا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد ".
Warrad, the scribe of Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates that Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) dictated a letter to me to be sent to Sayyiduna Mu’awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), and in it was this statement: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), after turning for salam at the end of every obligatory prayer, used to recite this supplication: «لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد ، وهو على كل شيء قدير ، اللهم لا مانع لما اعطيت ولا معطي لما منعت ولا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد» “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things capable. O Allah! None can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the greatness of any great one cannot benefit him against You.”
