Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Naeem bin Nahham, who belonged to the tribe of Banu Adi bin Ka'b, says: One night it was very cold, the call to the morning prayer was being given, and I was (lying) in my wife's sheet. I said: I wish the muezzin would also say: «ومن قعد فلا حرج» "If anyone does not want to come, there is no harm." (While I was thinking this) the muezzin of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said it «ومن قعد فلا حرج» .
