Due to some sins, worshipers, fasters, pilgrims, and fighters may enter Hell
Hadith 675
- (إذا خَلصَ المؤمنونَ من النار وأَمِنُوا؛ فـ[والذي نفسي بيده!] ما مُجَادَلَةُ أحَدِكُم لصاحبِهِ في الحقِّ يكون له في الدنيا بأشدِّ من مجادلة المؤمنين لربِّهم في إخوانِهِمُ الذين أُدْخِلُوا النار. قال: يقولون: ربَّنا:! إخوانُنَا كانوا يصلُّون معنا؛ ويصومون , معنا؛ ويحُجُّون معنا؛ [ويُجاهدون معنا] ؛ فأدخلتَهم النار. قال: فيقولُ: اذهَبُوا فأخرِجُوا من عَرَفْتُم منهم؛ فيأتُونهم؛ فَيَعْرفونَهُم بِصُورِهم؛ لا تأكلُ النار صُوَرَهُم؛ [لم تَغْشَ الوَجْهَ] ؛ فَمِنْهم من أَخَذتْهُ النارُ إلى أنصافِ ساقَيْهِ؛ ومنهم من أخذته إلى كَعْبَيْه (¬1) [فَيُخرِجُونَ مِنْها بشراً كثيراً] ؛ فيقولون: ربَّنا! قد أَخْرَجنا مَنْ أَمَرتنا. قال: ثم [يَعُودون فيتكلمون فـ] يقولُ: أَخْرِجُوا من كان في قلبهِ مِثقالُ دينارٍ من الإيمانِ. [فيُخرِجُون] ¬ (¬1) الأصل: ((كفيه)) وعلى الهامش: ((في ((مسلم)) : ركبتيه)) . قلت: والتصويب من ((المسند)) ؛ و ((النسائي)) ؛و ((ابن ماجة)) . وفي ((البخاري)) : ((قدميه)) وفي رواية مسلم سويد بن سعيد؛ وهو متكلم فيه. خلقاً كثيراً] ، ثم [يقولون: ربَّنا! لم نَذَرْ فيها أحداً ممن أَمَرتَنا. ثم يقول: ارجعوا، فـ] من كان في قلبه وزنُ نصف دينارٍ [فأًخْرِجُوهُ. فيُخرِجونَ خلقاً كثيراً، ثم يقولون: ربَّنا! لم نَذَرْ فيها ممن أمرتنا ... ] ؛ حتى يقول: أخرِجُوا من كان في قلبه مثقال ذَرَّةٍ. [فيخرجون خلقاً كثيراً] ، قال أبو سعيد: فمن لم يُصّدِّقْ بهذا الحديث فليَقْرَأْ هذه الآية: (إن الله لايظلم مثقال ذرة وإن تك حسنة يضاعفها ويؤت من لَدُنْهُ أجراً عظيماً) [النساء /40] ؛ قال: فيقولون: ربنا! قد أَخْرَجْنا من أمرتنا؛ فلم يَبْقَ في النار أحدٌ فيه خيرٌ. قال: ثم يقول الله: شفعَتِ الملائكة؛ وشَفَعَتِ الأنبياء؛ وشَفَعَ المؤمنون؛ وبَقِيَ أرحم الراحمين قال: فَيَقْبضُ قبضةً من النار- أو قال: قَبْضَتَينِ - ناساً لم يعملوا خيراً قََطُّ؛ قد احتَرَقُوا حتى صاروا حُمَماً. قال: فَيُؤْتَى بهم إلى ماء يُقالُ له: (الحياةُ) ؛ فَيُصَبُّ عليهم؛ فَيَنْبُتُونَ كما تَنْبُتُ الحبَّةُ في حَمِيلِ السَّيلِ؛ [قد رَأَيْتُمُوها إلى جانب الصخرة؛ وإلى جانب الشجرة؛ فما كان إلى الشمس منها كان أخضر؛ وما كان منها إلى الظلِّ كان أبيض] ؛ قال: فَيَخْرُجُونَ من أجسادِهِم مِثلَ اللؤلؤِ؛ وفي أعناقهم الخاتمُ؛ (وفي رواية: الخواتِمُ) : عُتَقاءُ الله. قال: فيُقالُ لَهُمُ: ادخلوا الجنة؛ فما تمنَّيتمُ وَرَأيتُم من شيءٍ فهو لكُم [ومِثلُهُ مَعَهُ] . [فيقول أهل الجنة: هؤلاء عُتقاءُ الرحمن أَدْخَلَهُمُ الجنة بغيرِ عملٍ عَمِلُوهُ؛ ولا خيرٍ َقدَّمُوهُ] . قال: فيقولون: ربَّنا! أَعَطَيْتَنا ما لم تُعطِ أحداً من العالمين. قال: فيقول: فإن لكم عندي أفْضَلَ منه. فيقولون: ربَّنا! وما أَفْضَلُ من ذلكَ؟ [قال:] فيقولُ: رِضائي عَنْكُم؛ فلا أَسْخَطُ عليكم أبداً) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), who reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When the believers will be saved from the fire of Hell and will be at ease, by the One in Whose hand is my soul! They will argue intensely with their Lord about their believing brothers who have entered Hell, just as one of you argues with his companion to obtain his worldly right. They will say: O our Lord! Our brothers who used to pray with us, fast, perform Hajj, and strive in jihad, You have made them enter the Fire, (why is this so)? Allah Almighty will say: Go, and bring out those whom you recognize. They will go to them and recognize them by their faces, for the Fire will not burn their faces. On some, the effect of the Fire will be up to half the shank, and on some up to the knees. They will bring out many people from there and will say: O our Lord! Those whom You commanded us to bring out, we have brought them out. They will repeat the same (that our brothers are in Hell), and in response Allah Almighty will say: Bring out also the one in whose heart is faith equal to the weight of a dinar. They will go and bring out many people and will say: O our Lord! Of those whom You commanded us to bring out, we have not left anyone. But Allah Almighty will say: Go a third time and bring out also the one in whose heart is faith equal to half a dinar. They will bring out many people and then will say: O our Lord! Of those whom You commanded, we have not left anyone, until Allah Almighty will say: Bring out also the one in whose heart is faith equal to the smallest particle. So they will bring out many people.”
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Whoever does not believe this hadith, let him recite this verse: «إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ وَإِنْ تَكُ حَسَنَةً يُضَاعِفْهَا وَيُؤْتِ مِنْ لَدُنْهُ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا» “Allah does not wrong anyone even by the weight of a particle; and if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.” (4:40, al-Nisa) Then they will say: O our Lord! According to Your command, we have brought out (even those with the smallest particle of faith) from Hell; now there is no one left there in whose heart there is any good. At that time Allah Almighty will say: The angels have interceded, the prophets have interceded, and the believers have interceded. Now only «ارحم الراحمين» remains. Then Allah Almighty Himself will take out from Hell a handful or two of people who will have done no good deeds. They will have been burnt and turned into charcoal. They will be brought to a water called “Hayat” and this water will be poured over them, and their bodies will grow like the seed that grows in the debris carried by a flood. You have seen a seed growing by a rock or a tree; the plant that grows towards the sun is green, and the one that grows in the shade is white. By the pouring of this water, their bodies will become like pearls, and on their necks will be the seal of «عُتَقَا ءُالله». It will be said to them: Enter Paradise; whatever you desire and whatever you see, you will be given that and the like of it as well. The people of Paradise will say: These are the freed ones of the Most Merciful; Allah Almighty has admitted them to Paradise without any deed and without any good. They will say: O our Lord! You have given us what You have not given to anyone among the worlds. Allah Almighty will say: I have something even better for you. They will ask: Our Lord! What is that which is better? Allah Almighty will say: I am pleased with you, and I will never be displeased with you ever again.”
