Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyidah Zaynab Thaqafiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any woman among you goes to the mosque, she must not apply perfume at all."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a woman goes to the mosque, she should bathe as she does for major ritual impurity (janabah) to remove the effect of fragrance."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A woman who applies (fragrant) incense should not come to perform the Isha prayer with us."
