Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the iqamah for (Maghrib) prayer is called and any of you is fasting, then he should eat before offering the Maghrib prayer. (In such a case) do not rush in eating the food."
