Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Qaboos narrates from his father that his father sent a woman to Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) so that she could ask her which prayer the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) liked to perform regularly. She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray four rak'ahs before the Zuhr prayer, in which he would stand for a long time and perform bowing and prostration in a good manner, and whether he was healthy or ill, and whether he was traveling or at home, he would never abandon the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr.
