Hadith 624
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Safwan bin Mu'attal Salami (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! I want to ask you about something which you know and I do not know. Is there any time during the day or night in which it is disliked to perform prayer? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "After performing the Fajr prayer, refrain from offering any further prayer until the sun rises, because the sun rises between the horns of Satan. When the sun has risen, then you may perform prayer; at that time, the angels are present and it is accepted, until the sun stands overhead like a spear (i.e., when the time of zenith begins). This is the hour in which Hell is heated and its doors are opened. When the sun declines, you may perform prayer until the Asr prayer; in this prayer also the angels are present and it is accepted. Then, after Asr until sunset, do not perform any prayer."

Hadith 625
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not perform prayer at the time of sunrise or sunset, because it rises and sets on the horn of Satan. (Between sunrise and sunset) you may pray whenever you wish."

Hadith 626
Saeed bin Nafi’ says that Abu Basheer Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), who is a companion of the Messenger, saw me while I was performing the Duha prayer at the time of sunrise. He considered my action objectionable and forbade me from doing so, and said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do not pray until the sun has risen, for it rises between the horns of Satan.”
