Hadith 607
- " كان يأمر بناته ونسائه أن يخرجن في العيدين ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to command his daughters and wives to go out for the two Eids.
Hadith 608
- " أخرجوا العواتق وذوات الخدور، فليشهدن العيد ودعوة المسلمين وليعتزل الحيض مصلى المسلمين ".
Lady Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: We asked Lady Umm ‘Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her): Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? She said: Yes, may my father be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Bring out the young women and those who observe seclusion, they should participate in the Eid and in the supplications of the Muslims, and the menstruating women should stay away from the prayer place of the Muslims and sit aside."
Hadith 609
- " وجب الخروج على كل ذات نطاق. يعني في العيدين ".
It is narrated from the sister of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Rawahah Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “(For the two Eids) it is obligatory for every woman who ties a waistband, that is, who has reached puberty, to go out.”
