Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Construct it like the hut of Musa (peace be upon him)." This hadith has been narrated mursal by Hasan al-Basri, Salim bin Atiyyah, Zuhri, and Rashid bin Sa'd, and has been narrated mawsool from Sayyiduna Abu Darda and Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with them).

Saeed bin Abu Saeed reports mursal that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you begin to adorn the mosques and beautify the copies of the Qur'an, then destruction and ruin will befall you."
