Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to Humran bin Aban: "Why did you not perform the congregational prayer?" He replied: "I performed the Fajr prayer in congregation on Friday." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Has this not reached you that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'The most virtuous prayer in the sight of Allah is the Fajr prayer on Friday, which is performed in congregation.'"
