Not facing or turning back to Qibla while relieving oneself and its reward
Hadith 441
- " إذا جلس أحدكم على حاجته فلا يستقبل القبلة ولا يستدبرها ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you sits for relieving himself, he should neither face the Qiblah nor turn his back towards it."
Hadith 442
- " من لم يستقبل القبلة ولم يستدبرها في الغائط كتب له حسنة ومحي عنه سيئة ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever, while relieving himself, neither faces the Qiblah nor turns his back towards it, one good deed will be written for him and one sin will be erased."
