Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Touch the earth, for it is compassionate towards you."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyidah Khawlah bint Yasaar (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have only one garment, in which I also experience menstruation, so what should I do about it? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you become pure, wash it and then pray in it." She said: What if the blood does not come out of it? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Water alone is sufficient for you, and its trace will not harm you."
