Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In the early days, Jibreel came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and taught him ablution and prayer. When he finished ablution, he took a handful of water and sprinkled it on his private part."
