Hadith 381
- (إنّ من أَفْرَى الفِرَى أنْ يُرِيَ عَينيهِ في المنامِ ما لم تَرَيَا) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The greatest lie is that a man claims to have seen in his dream that which his eyes did not actually see."
Hadith 382
- " من كذب في حلمه، كلف يوم القيامة عقد شعيرة ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever lies in his dream, he will be punished by being made to tie a knot in a grain of barley."
