Hadith 353
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the People of the Book used to read the Torah in the Hebrew language and would present its explanation in Arabic for the Muslims. (Seeing this situation) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Neither affirm nor deny the People of the Book, but rather say: We believe in Allah and in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you."

Hadith 354
Ibn Abi Namla narrates from his father, he says: I was sitting with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when a Jew came to him and said: O Muhammad! Is the dead spoken to? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Allah knows best.” The Jew said: I bear witness that the dead are spoken to. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “When the People of the Book relate something to you, neither confirm nor deny them, but rather say: We believe in Allah, His Books, and His Messengers. If what they say is true, you have not denied it, and if it is false, you have not confirmed it.”

Hadith 355
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You may narrate from the Children of Israel, there is no harm in it, for among them are some astonishing matters." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself said: "A group from the Children of Israel set out and passed by a graveyard of theirs. They said: If we pray two rak‘ahs and supplicate to Allah that He brings forth a dead person for us (from his grave), so that we may ask him about death. So they did so. While they were doing this, a wheat-colored man raised his head from the grave, and there was a mark of prostration on his forehead. He said: O! What do you want from me? I died a hundred years ago, but the heat of death has not yet subsided. Now pray to Allah that He returns me to the state in which I was."
