Caution regarding forbidden things
Hadith 347
- (إني لأنقلبُ إلى أهْلي، فأجدُ التمرةَ ساقطةً على فراشِي، فأرفعُها لآكلَها، ثمّ أخشَى أن تكون صدقةً! فأُلقيها) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I return to my family and find a date lying on my bed. I pick it up to eat it, but then I fear that it might be a date from charity, so I throw it away."
