Hadith 339
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr رضي الله عنه that he said: One day, I went to the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم at noon. He heard the voices of two men who were disputing about a verse. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم came to us, and signs of anger could be seen on his face. He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Those before you were destroyed only because they differed concerning the Book."

Hadith 340
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Nawwas bin Sam'an (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not argue about the Qur'an, and do not reject one part of the Book of Allah because of another part. By Allah! (There are times when) when a believer disputes with the Qur'an, he is overcome, and when a hypocrite argues obstinately with the Qur'an, he prevails."
