Hadith 313
Sayyiduna Miqdam bin Ma’dikarib al-Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I have been given a (divine) Book and another thing equal to it, that is, something like it (in addition). Soon, a satiated man reclining on his couch may say: ‘This (divine) Book is sufficient between us and you. Whatever is declared lawful in it, we will consider lawful, and whatever is declared unlawful in it, we will consider unlawful.’ Beware! The matter is not like that. Listen! The carnivorous beast with fangs is not lawful, nor is the domestic donkey, nor is the lost property of a dhimmi (non-Muslim under Muslim protection), unless its owner has given up hope of it. And whoever becomes a guest of a people, and they do not host him, then it is permissible for him to take from them the amount of hospitality due to him.”
Hadith 314
Nuaim bin Dajjajah reports that Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud Uqbah bin Amr Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Are you the one who says that not even a hundred years will pass over the people before all blinking eyes will perish? Whereas the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) actually said: ‘Not even a hundred years will pass over the people before the blinking eye that is alive today will perish.’ By Allah! The hope of this Ummah will remain even after a hundred years.”
Hadith 315
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware! The trial (fitnah) is here, beware! The trial is here (he said this two or three times), from here the edge of the head of Satan will emerge." While saying this, he pointed towards the east or Iraq.
Hadith 316
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), he states that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concealed the word "Dukhan" for Ibn Sayyad, then asked him about it. He replied by saying the word "Dukh." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be humiliated! You will never surpass your rank (and status)." When he went away, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What did he reply?" Some said: He said the word "Dukh," while others said: He said the word "Zukh." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have fallen into disagreement in my presence, and after me you will disagree much more."
Hadith 317
Narrated from Sayyida Umm al-Fadl bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) that she came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I saw an ugly dream at night. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is it?" She said: It is very severe. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is it after all?" She said: It seemed to me that a piece of your body was cut off and thrown into my lap. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have seen a good dream. (Its interpretation is that, God willing, my daughter) Fatimah will give birth to a child." Indeed, Sayyida Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) gave birth to a child, Husayn, who was in my lap, just as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had said. One day I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and placed Husayn in his lap. When I turned towards him, tears were flowing from his eyes. I said: O Prophet of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, what has happened to you? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibril (peace be upon him) came to me and informed me that my Ummah will kill this son of mine." I said: This son (Husayn)? He said: "Yes, and he also brought me the red soil of that land."
