Hadith 281
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty said: The son of Adam hurts Me; he says: 'Alas for the misfortune and disappointment of time!' And in another narration, it is mentioned that he speaks ill of time. None of you should say: 'Alas for the misfortune of time,' because I (Allah) am time; I alternate the day and the night, and when I will, I will bring their sequence to an end."
Hadith 282
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty says: I asked My servant for a loan, but he did not give Me a loan, and My servant abuses Me in a state of unawareness, although it does not befit him. He says: Alas for the time! Alas for the time! Alas for the time! Whereas I (Allah) am the time."
Hadith 283
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not revile time, for Allah, the Exalted, has said: I am time; I alternate the days and nights, and I cause them to wear out, and I bring kings one after another."
