Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The One who is most patient upon hearing something distressing is Allah. People claim that He has a son and make others His equals, but He (instead of taking immediate revenge) grants them well-being, protects them, provides them with sustenance, and bestows (many blessings) upon them.”
