Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man went out towards the wilderness due to some need. His wife said: O Allah! Provide us sustenance so that we may knead flour and bake bread. When that man returned, what did he see? The tub was filled with flour, roasted meat (of an animal's) ribs was present in the oven, and the millstone was grinding grain. He said: Where did this sustenance come from? His wife said: This is sustenance granted by Allah, the Exalted. When he cleaned around the millstone (it stopped). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If he had left it as it was, it would have continued grinding flour until the Day of Resurrection."
