Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Furat bin Hayan (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was a spy for Abu Sufyan and an ally of an Ansari. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered for me to be killed. I passed by a group of the Ansar and said: I am a Muslim. One of the Ansar said: O Messenger of Allah! He is saying that he is a Muslim? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "We entrust some of you to the faith of others among you; Furat bin Hayan is among them."
