Satan's despair from the land of Arabia
Hadith 157
- " إن الشيطان قد أيس أن يعبد بأرضكم هذه ولكنه قد رضي منكم بما تحقرون ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Satan has despaired of being worshipped in your (Arabian Peninsula's) land, but he will be satisfied with (making you commit) such sins which you consider insignificant."
Hadith 158
- " إن الشيطان قد أيس أن يعبده المصلون في جزيرة العرب ولكن في التحريش بينهم ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Satan has despaired of being worshipped by the worshippers (i.e., Muslims) in the Arabian Peninsula, but he will continue to incite them to discord."
