Sins diminish faith
Hadith 88
- " لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن، ولا يشرب الخمر حين يشرب وهو مؤمن، ولا يسرق حين يسرق وهو مؤمن، ولا ينتهب نهبة يرفع الناس إليه أبصارهم وهو مؤمن ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When an adulterer commits adultery, he is not a believer; when a drunkard drinks alcohol, he is not a believer; when a thief steals, he is not a believer; and when a robber forcibly plunders while people are watching him, he is not a believer."
