Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Shurayh Khuza'i (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and said: "Rejoice, rejoice! Do you not bear witness that Allah alone is the true deity and I am the Messenger of Allah?" The companions said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This Qur'an is a rope, one end of it is in Allah's hand and the other end is in your hands. Hold it firmly, for after this you will never go astray nor be destroyed."
