Consequence of denying excess water and grass
Hadith 985
- " اذكر الموت في صلاتك، فإن الرجل إذا ذكر الموت في صلاته لحري أن يحسن صلاته ، وصل صلاة رجل لا يظن أنه يصلي صلاة غيرها، وإياك وكل أمر يعتذر منه ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I wrote to the caretaker of my land not to withhold surplus water, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever withholds (from others) surplus water or grass (beyond his own need), Allah Almighty will withhold His bounty from him on the Day of Resurrection."
