Accepting the concession given by the Prophet
Hadith 900
- " هي رخصة ـ يعني الفطر في السفر ـ من الله، فمن أخذ بها فحسن، ومن أحب أن يصوم، فلا جناح عليه ".
Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Amr Al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) says: O Messenger of Allah! I have the strength to fast while traveling, (if I do so) will there be any sin upon me? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "It is a concession from Allah, so whoever accepts it, it is good, and whoever wishes to fast, there is no sin upon him either."
