Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When Allah Almighty speaks to reveal something, the inhabitants of the heavens hear a sound like the clanging of a chain being dragged over a smooth stone, and they fall unconscious. They remain in this state until Gabriel arrives. When he comes, the fear is removed from their hearts. They ask: O Gabriel! What did your Lord say? He replies: He spoke the truth. (Upon hearing this) they also say: He spoke the truth, He spoke the truth.
