Hadith 789
- (كانَ يصلي والحسنُ والحسينُ يلعبانِ ويقعدانِ على ظهرِه، فأخذَ المسلمونَ يميطونَهما؛ فلمّا انصرفَ قال: ذرُوهما- بأبي وأمّي- من أحبّني؛ فليحبَّ هذَينِ) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying, and Hasan and Husayn, while playing, climbed onto his back. The companions tried to move them away. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, he said: "May my parents be sacrificed for you, leave them alone. Whoever loves me should also love them."
