Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sulaik Ghatafani entered the mosque on the day of Jumu'ah while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the sermon. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Pray two rak'ahs and do not do this again." That is, do not delay coming for the Jumu'ah prayer. He prayed two rak'ahs and then sat down.
