Supererogatory prayers are better at home
Hadith 587
- (تطوُّعُ الرجل في بيتِهِ يزيدُ على تطوُّعِه عندَ الناس، كفضْلِ صلاة الرجل في جماعةٍ على صلاتهِ وحدَه) .
It is narrated from a Companion of the Messenger that he said: "The reward for a man offering voluntary prayers at home is greater than offering them among the people, just as the reward for congregational (obligatory) prayer is greater than that of praying alone."
