Virtue of a house where Quran is recited
Hadith 584
- (اجعلُوا من صلاتِكم في بُيوتِكم، ولا تجعلُوها عليكم قُبوراً، كما اتَّخذت اليهود والنصارى في بيوتهم قبوراً، وإنَّ البيت ليُتلى فيه القرآن؛ فيتراءى لأهلِ السماء كما تتراءى النجومُ لأهل الأرضِ) .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Offer a part of your prayers in your homes as well; do not make them like graveyards, just as the Jews made their homes like graveyards. Indeed, the house in which the Qur'an is recited appears to the inhabitants of the heavens as the stars appear to the inhabitants of the earth."
