Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Ibn Abzi narrates from his father Abzi (may Allah be pleased with him) that (one day) the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) overlooked a verse, and after completing the prayer, he asked: "Is Ubayy among the people?" Sayyiduna Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "Has such-and-such verse been abrogated or have you forgotten it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rather, it was made me forget."
