Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Ibn Jurayj says: I was informed by ‘Uthaym bin Kulayb al-Juhani that he narrated from his father, and he from his grandfather, that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have become a Muslim. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Remove the hair of disbelief." That is, shave it off. He says: Then another narrator narrated from them that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Remove the hair of disbelief and perform circumcision."
