Prophetic advice for students of hadith
Hadith 4098
- " كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوصينا بكم. يعني طلبة الحديث ".
It is narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, he used to say: (We) say "Marhaban" (welcome) to the will of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to advise us regarding you. By "you" he meant the students of hadith.
