When is retribution (qisas) applied?
Hadith 4083

- " العمد قود، والخطأ دية ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Hazm (may Allah be pleased with him) that "For intentional (excess), there is qisas (retaliation), and for unintentional (excess), there is only diyah (blood money)."
