Hadith 4031

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and performed the Fajr prayer, and he (Abu Sa'id) was behind him. When you recited (Qur'an), it became mixed up for you. When you finished the prayer, you said: "If only you could have seen me and Iblis. I stretched out my hand and kept choking him, until I felt the coolness of his saliva between my thumb and the finger next to it. If it were not for the supplication of my brother Sulaiman (peace be upon him), he would have woken up in the morning tied to one of the pillars of the mosque, and the children of Madinah would have been playing with him. Whoever among you is able, during prayer, to prevent anything from coming between him and his qiblah, let him do so."
