Silsilah Sahihah

Abdul Aziz bin Mukhtar bin Abdullah Danaj says that I was sitting with Abu Salma bin Abdur Rahman in a mosque during the time of Khalid bin Abdullah bin Khalid bin Asid. Hasan also came and sat down; we continued talking. During the conversation, Abu Salma said: "Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to us that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'On the Day of Resurrection, both the sun and the moon will be wrapped up in Hell, and their color will be red.'" Hasan said: "What is their sin?" Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I am narrating to you the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." Upon hearing this, Hasan became silent.
