Hadith 4004

- (إنّ في النّار حيّاتٍ أمْثالَ أعْناقٍ البُخت؛ يلْسعْن اللسعَة؛ فيجدُ حُمُوَّتها أربعينَ خريفاً. وإنَّ فيها لَعقارب كالبغالِ الموكِفةِ؛ يلْسَعْنَ اللسعةَ، فيجدُ حُمُوَّتها أربعينَ خَريفاً) .
The companion of the Messenger, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Harith bin Jaz’ Zubaidi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “In Hell there are snakes like the necks of Bactrian camels; when they bite, the pain of their venom is felt for forty years. And there are (very large) scorpions like saddled mules; when they sting, the effect of their venom is felt for forty years.”
